These are studies for the Risen Savior Triptych (Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Pooler, GA), including a 1/20 scale model of the chancel. The subject matter of the triptych is 1 Corinthians 15:21-22, which beautifully lays out the dual truths of Scripture: law and gospel. After months of deliberation and planning, the altarpiece was not approved. However, the project served as empirical research for Mayer's MFA Thesis, which can be downloaded on the Contact page.
